Account.live.com is Microsoft’s online portal which is used to manage Microsoft account passwords. Everybody knows Microsoft tech joint which provides their services all over the world and there is a lot of software and hardware that are managed by Microsoft.apart from the Microsoft products Microsoft also bought much other software and web services. Some of Microsoft’s most popular products and services are Outlook, Hotmail, MSN messenger, Microsoft Windows, Bing.
At the beginning, of each products there were individual accounts for all the services offered by Microsoft like Hotmail has their own servers and Windows 8 there on individual servers. so it was very difficult for Microsoft and the uses for all services to use individual accounts and passwords. To remove the hassle Microsoft launched an account live portal and combined all the services and the accounts and passwords on that portal. Now there is only one Microsoft account needed to access all the Microsoft services like Outlook Hotmail or office 365.
So account.live.com is basically launched for the convenience of the users and also for Microsoft to manage their users and for users to manage their accounts and passwords at one place. Now old users can manage their Microsoft account at account.live.com.
